Kvarken Space Center and University of Vaasa were featured in Technology Industries of Finland’s Future Technologies video series, so let’s take a look at the world of space technology, led by Elo Umukoro.

Elo visits the premises of the Espoo-based space technology company, Aurora Propulsion Technologies, to learn about the types of satellite components the company manufactures and how they function. Then, she heads to the University of Vaasa campus to hear about space studies and research. There she explores Kvarken Space Center’s space data laboratory and KvarkenSat, which will operate in the Kvarken region in the near future, and learns about the diverse possibilities of utilizing satellite data and satellite positioning.
